Focusing to aware the masses about the destructive effects of drugs the International Day against Drug Abuse was observed at BVM (USN) today. A special emphasis was to generate maximum awareness about the major problem that illicit drugs cause in the society. The theme for the 2020 International Day against drug abuse and illicit trafficking is "Better knowledge for Better Care "emphasizes the need to improve the understanding of the world drug problem in turn with better knowledge to foster greater cooperation for countering its impacts on health, governance and security. Bhartiyans from all wings prepared posters and slogans to strengthen this cause, creating awareness and cooperation to achieve the goal of a drug free society. In his address Mr. Narendra Rawat (TGT science) said that this day is observed worldwide with much conscious fervor to make people aware of the hazards of drug addiction and illegal trafficking.
Principal Bandana Sethi gave a clarion call for the consistent efforts to be waged on this issue so as to ensure healthy and prosperous society.
